The prestigious trophy of the 1st Chief Minister’s Gold Cup Open Volleyball Tournament was unveiled today during the grand opening ceremony of the Sikkim Premier League (SPL) 2025 at Bhaichung Stadium in Namchi. The event witnessed an enthusiastic crowd and a vibrant display of Sikkim’s growing sporting culture.

The Chief Minister’s Gold Cup is a landmark sporting event, being organized as a highlight of the upcoming Discover Rabong Cho-Dzo Fest 2025. The tournament, supported by the State Tourism & Civil Aviation Department, is scheduled to be held in Rabong from April 11 to April 16. The festival aims to blend sports, culture, and tourism in a celebration of local talent and community spirit.

The State government, under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Prem Singh Tamang, continues to prioritize the development of sports across Sikkim. Through such initiatives, the government seeks to foster a vibrant sporting environment, providing a platform for athletes from diverse backgrounds to showcase their skills and inspire future generations.
