Manita Rai of Yangang Achieves Success with UGC NET

Manita Rai, daughter of Shri Rup Dhan Rai and Shrimati Man Maya Rai from Yangang, South Sikkim, has made her family and community proud by qualifying for the UGC NET in Education with an exceptional 95.25 percentile.

Manita’s academic journey began at Yangang Senior Secondary School, followed by an undergraduate degree in Political Science with honors from Sikkim Government College Namchi. Her pursuit of knowledge didn’t stop there as she earned master’s degrees in History, Political Science, and Education. She further broadened her educational expertise with a B.Ed from Loyola College of Education Namchi and an M.Ed from Harkamaya College of Education, Gangtok.

In addition to her impressive academic background, Manita has also qualified for the Assam Northeast SLET 2024, the STET, and CTET, showcasing her dedication to education and her ambition to excel in the field. This achievement highlights her commitment to academic excellence and serves as an inspiration to others in the region.
