Fifa World Cup qualifiers| Chhetri lead India’s victory 2-0

India beat Bangladesh 2-0 to strengthen its chances of qualifying for the AFC Asian Cup which will be held in 2023.

Indian Football Captian Chhetri’s brace has given a comprehensive win to India by giving both goals in the second half, which now waits for its next match against Afghanistan.

Bangladesh too did Brillant perform in the first half and did not offer anything substantial going forward, especially in the second half. Despite maintaining a solid defensive performance overall, it could not prevent the lethal Chhetri from getting his brace.

Leading from the front, Sunil Chhetri managed to boost the team late in the second half to put India ahead of Bangladesh.

After scoring the opener in the 79th minute, Sunil Chhetri doubled his tally by scoring a sensational second goal to confirm India’s win over Bangladesh. As Chhetri’s masterclass powered India to a remarkable win, the iconic striker was lauded by fans and followers of the beautiful game on social media.
