Delegation from Australian High Commission visit Central Referral Hospital (CRH)

GANGTOK, 26 December 2022 Ms Terri Buckney- First Secretary, Regional Consular Officer, Australian High Commission, New Delhi and Mr.Rajiv Ghosh- Corporate Services and Consular Manager, Australian Consulate- General, Kolkata, paid a courtesy visit to Central Referral Hospital (CRH) under Sikkim Manipal University (SMU) here on 22 December.

During the visit, they met Dr. Yogesh Verma, Medical Superintendent, CRH and other senior officials to discuss about the medical facilities available in CRH in case of any emergency medical intervention needed by Australian citizens when they are visiting Sikkim. They also toured the hospital.

Later, the delegates called on Dr. (Lt. Gen.) Rajen S. Grewal, Vice Chancellor, Sikkim Manipal Universityand held fruitful discussions on wide-range of issues. The Vice Chancellor extended all support to Australian citizens in Sikkim in need of medical treatment on behalf of CRH and SMU.
