A cleanliness drive held in Pakyong district

Pakyong, December 04, A cleanliness drive with the message “total clean and neat Sikkim” along the stretch from Setipool to DAC Office Pakyong was carried out today by Zilla and Gram Panchayat under Pakyong BAC in coordination with BDO and ADC(Dev) Office, Pakyong.

The drive witnessed the presence of Area MLA Mr Em Prasad Sharma, Chairperson Excise Department- Mr Ganza Bhutia, Zilla Adhakshay, Pakyong District- Mrs Laden Bhutia, ADC Pakyong, SDM Pakyong, HODs, BDO Pakyong, Panchayat President Chotta Singtam and other members.

ADC(Dev), Pakyong- Mr Robin Pd Sewa informed that under the vision of Hon’ble Chief Minister of Sikkim and with the guidance of Area MLA, today’s drive was conducted with a clear message of neat and clean Sikkim.

The cleanliness drive saw the involvement of Zilla and Gram Panchayat members, SHG, officials from PWD, Horticulture and Animal husbandry department and other line departments.

The beautification of setipool was also done with a fresh touch of whitewash.
