AWARENESS ON “HAR GHAR TIRANGA” CAMPAIGN IN SIKKIM

Under the direction of Govt. of India and under purview of Govt. of Sikkim, celebrating 75 years of Independence “AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAV”, a campaign “Har Ghar Tiranga”is been observed all over the state wherein all houses/shops/schools/establishment to put up National Flag in their premises/buildings.

Mangan Nagar Panchayat,conducted an awareness for the campaign “Har Ghar Tiranga” with all Stakeholders, citizens, shopkeepers, various Samaj/associations of Mangan Nagar Panchayat.

The awareness was organized with the aim to observe the campaign in the grand manner in the ULB.

Municipal President Mrs. Norkit Lepcha was the Chief Guest of the day. Also present were Municipal Vice President Shri. Ugen Palzor Kazi, Councillor Smt. Premkit Lepcha, Councillor Shri. Hangu Lachenpa, President Chotang Yargey Samaj Shri Karma Bhutia, Bazaar Asst. SI Shri Pema Lepcha, HA cum NPA Shri MB Limboo and other staff of Mangan Nagar Panchayat.

The progamme started with the singing of National anthem.

Shri Tempo Tashi Bhutia in his address welcomed the gathering for the event. He emphasized that the celebration of 75th Years of Independence, Azadi ka amrit mahotsav should be celebrated by everyone & Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign as directed by Hon’ble Chief Minister be taken up by everyone and hoist one National flag in each house,shop,school,establishment in a disciplined manner from 1st August to 15th August 2022

Speakers from the community also conveyed their enthusiasm in celebrating the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav in grand manner and also conveyed their willingness to sponsor national Flags to Mangan Nagar Pamchayat which can be distributed to Urban Poor.

President, Chotang Yargey Association, Pentok Shri Karma Bhutia in his address to gathering explained about the importance of having dedication and patriotism towards one nation and appealed everyone to hoist national flag to show integrity and sincerety towards our nation.

The event concluded with Vote of thanks to all present by MNP Bazaar Asst. SI Shri Pema Lepcha.
