Chief Minister PS Golay Takes Holy Dip at Triveni Sangam During Historic Mahakumbh

Chief Minister Mr Prem Singh Tamang expressed deep spiritual fulfillment after taking a sacred dip at the Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj this morning, during the Mahakumbh Mela 2025, a divine event occurring after 144 years.

“Today, I experienced one of the most profound moments of my spiritual journey,” the Chief Minister stated, describing the experience as transformative. The confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and the mystical Saraswati is believed to offer redemption and spiritual elevation, drawing millions of devotees from across the world.

“As I immersed myself in the pristine waters, a wave of peace and serenity enveloped my being. The touch of Maa Ganga, believed to cleanse one’s sins, was truly a blessing. My prayers ascended with the sacred ripples, seeking health, happiness, and prosperity for all,” the Chief Minister added.

The Mahakumbh Mela, one of the largest religious gatherings globally, has drawn sages, saints, and pilgrims in a timeless celebration of faith and devotion. “Witnessing such an extraordinary congregation reaffirmed my faith in the eternal values that bind humanity,” the Chief Minister remarked.

Accompanying the Chief Minister was a high-level delegation, including the Speaker, Deputy Speaker, Ministers, MLAs, Advisors, Mayor, Deputy Mayor, and councillors from GMC, along with esteemed pandits, purohits, monks, dignitaries, and government officials from Sikkim. Representatives from the press and media also joined the visit.

Expressing gratitude, the Chief Minister thanked Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi for his patronage and guidance and acknowledged the warm hospitality of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mr Yogi Adityanath. Appreciation was also extended to Uttar Pradesh Governor Smt. Anandiben Patel and the state administration for their impeccable arrangements, ensuring a seamless and spiritually uplifting pilgrimage.

“The meticulous planning at the Triveni Sangam site was commendable, allowing devotees to partake in this sacred event with ease and devotion,” the Chief Minister shared.

The Chief Minister also paid tribute to the revered spiritual leaders, saints, and pilgrims whose unwavering faith infused the occasion with divine sanctity. “Their spiritual energy left an indelible mark on this pilgrimage, creating cherished memories that will remain with us forever,” he shared.
