" Sikkim Awards 2022 held in Mayfair Gangtok"
Hon’ble Chief Minister, Shri Prem Singh Tamang graced the Sikkim Awards 2022, programme held at hotel Mayfair, today.
The Chief Minister in his address applauded all the awardees. He said, ‘I am happy to meet you all and share your joy on being conferred with the Sikkim Awards’.
He expressed his gratitude to the organisers for honouring their excellence in various sectors. He mentioned, this kind of function provides an opportunity to convey the collective appreciation to all the awardees who have worked for the welfare of the people as well the State.
On his ending note he encouraged everyone to work for the welfare of the people.
The award ceremony was organised by the Nirmala Devi Foundation in collaboration with Seed Cell and Positude Event Management Company. Nirmala Devi Foundation is a non-government organisation and it mainly focuses to provide education to the aspiring students of the rural areas.
The occasion had cultural presentations by different artists and was followed by the award ceremony.
Chief Minister, Shri Prem Singh Tamang presented the awards to the forty-one awardees from different sectors.
The programme also had the presence of the Speaker, SLA, Shri Arun Kumar Upreti, Minister, Shri B.S Panth, Press Secretary Shri Bikash Basnet , dignitaries and local gentry.
The ceremony was organised to celebrate the good deeds and work of the people for the welfare and benefit of the people and State.
