Sikkim Students Excel at National Meteorological Olympiad

Six students from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) Phodong, Mangan, have made Sikkim proud by securing top ranks at the National Meteorological Olympiad held at the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) Headquarters in New Delhi. Competing through multiple selection rounds, they showcased their expertise in meteorology and earned recognition at the national level.

The IMD honored them with cash prizes, mementos, and certificates, underscoring the rising interest in meteorological sciences among students in Sikkim. Their achievement reflects the growing emphasis on scientific education in the region.
