The Siliguri-based TriShakti noted an alleged serving officer of the Indian Army was very active in Siliguri.
The man identified as Dalchand Verma, s/o Late Parchand Verma of Gangtok Sikkim, claimed to be posing as a Lt Col of the Indian Army from the Salugara area, Siliguri and that he was deployed at Siliguri as a recruiter.
The suspect is involved in fake recruitment and forgery of documents etc. On Monday, Verma was picked up from Siliguri by Siliguri Metropolitan Police.
