Army Vehicle Accident in Sikkim’s Pakyong District

An army vehicle fell off a vertical drop on the Dalapchand Highway in Chujachen, Pakyong district. According to reports, four individuals were aboard the vehicle at the time of the accident.

Three of them lost their lives at the scene, while one soldier is in critical condition and receiving urgent medical attention.

Further details have emerged regarding the accident. The vehicle involved was identified as No. 06D171849M (ALS Stallion, One Ton) from the EMC Unit in Binaguri, West Bengal. The accident led to the deaths of four Army personnel, who have been identified as:

  1. Sepoy Pradeep Patel, the driver, hailing from Madhya Pradesh.
  2. CFN W. Peter, from Imphal, Manipur.
  3. NK Gursev Singh, from Haryana.
  4. Subedar K. Thangapandi, from Tamil Nadu.
