Bolero Fall into Teesta, recuse operation on

The ongoing search operation at Teesta river in Dikchu, after a vehicle plummeted into the NHPC Teesta reservoir is being administered under the directives of DC Mangan, SP Mangan along with coordination of GREF, Teesta Urja and rescue teams from NDRF, SDRF, Teesta rescue, Mangan Police and the local residents.
The accident occurred at around 5:30 pm, on 18th May. The rescue operation began immediately after the accident. The search operation began after requisition to NHPC and Teesta Urja to decrease the water level at the accident site which led to rescue of the vehicle at 4:45 this morning.
The DC Mangan is co-ordinating with DC Gangtok and DC Pakyong. Meanwhile, search is still on for the occupant of the vehicle.
