The grand inauguration of the Cambridge Montessori Global School was held today, marking a significant milestone in the region’s educational landscape. The event was inaugurated by Minister of Education, Shri Raju Basnet, who expressed his admiration for the school’s innovative approach to Montessori education.
The ceremony was attended by several dignitaries, including L.B. Das, MLA of 18 Westpendam Constituency, Satish Chandra Rai, MLA of Namchi Singhithang, Jacob Khaling, Political Secretary to the Chief Minister of Sikkim, Dr. H.P. Chettri, Director of the Himalayan Pharmacy Institute, and local Councillors from Rangpo Nagar Panchayat.
During his address, Minister Raju Basnet lauded Director Smriti Rai and her team for their tireless efforts in establishing a high-standard Montessori system in the region.
In a moment of recognition, Dr. Hannah Yonzon, Joint Director at the Department of Education, Government of Sikkim, was felicitated by the Minister for her significant contributions to the field of education.
The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks from Kishor Dungmali Rai, a member of the School Managing Committee.
