Governor of Sikkim Extends Wishes to His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama

The Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim, Shri Lakshman Prasad Acharya extends his warmest and heartfelt birthday greetings to the revered spiritual leader, His Holiness the Dalai Lama, on the auspicious occasion of his birthday.

His Holiness the Dalai Lama, the embodiment of compassion and wisdom, has been a guiding light for millions around the world, including the people of Sikkim. His tireless efforts towards peace, non-violence, and global harmony have inspired generations and continue to serve as an inspiration to every being. 

As the Governor of Sikkim, I also am privileged to witness firsthand the deep reverence and affection the people of Sikkim hold for His Holiness the Dalai Lama. His visits to our state have always been a moment of great joy and spiritual significance, strengthening the bond between Sikkim and the Tibetan Buddhist community.

On this joyous occasion, I join the people of Sikkim in expressing our profound gratitude to His Holiness the Dalai Lama for his immense contributions to humanity. His teachings on compassion, mindfulness, and interfaith harmony have transformed countless lives and continue to shape a more compassionate and understanding world.

I humbly pray for His Holiness’s long and healthy life, filled with peace and tranquillity. May his wisdom continue to guide us in creating a world where compassion and respect for all beings prevail. May His Holiness continue to turn the wheel of dharma till every sentient being is free from any kind of pain and suffering. Long live His Holiness !
