Recently Destroyed Phidang Bailey Bridge in North Sikkim Repaired, Restoring Vital Connectivity in North Sikkim.

The 60-meter Bailey Bridge at Phidang on the Dikchu road has been successfully restored, providing essential relief to travelers and commuters. This key route, vital for Dzongu and Mangan District, had been disrupted after recent damage, causing delays in daily travel and tourism.

The swift efforts of the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) and local representatives, the bridge was repaired quickly, allowing traffic to resume without further delay. The Forest Minister and Dzongu MLA expressed their appreciation for the BRO team and everyone involved in the restoration process, recognizing their hard work in reopening this crucial transport link.

For Permits and tourists purpose we will have to wait for a notification from Government of Sikkim.
