Hailing from Rorathang, East Sikkim, he faced tough competition from bodybuilders of Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Turkey, Thailand, and Australia, emerging as the victory.
This win adds to Budhathoki’s international success as he has won medal many time securing second and third in recent events, Budathoki was was chosen to represent Sikkim at the WFF PRO-AM Universe Championship in Celay, Guanajuato, Mexico, from July 14th to 16th, following his notable 4th position in the 75 kg category at the 2022 Mr. Universe competition in Bangkok.
