Chief Minister PS Golay proudly announced the departure of Sikkim’s first-ever U-13 Sub-Junior Girls’ Team, who will represent the state in the upcoming U-13 Sub-Junior Girls National Championship in Madhya Pradesh. The team, trained diligently at Jautar Stadium in Soreng district under the guidance of Head Coach Shri Urgen Pintso Sherpa, is accompanied by Ms. Prikila Tamang as Assistant Coach, Ms. Samten Doma Lepcha as Team Manager, and Ms. Yashna Chettri as Physiotherapist.
CM Golay extended his heartfelt best wishes to the team, expressing his hope for their outstanding performance. This milestone marks a significant achievement for Sikkim, reflecting the state’s growing focus on nurturing young talent in sports.
