Google had released the final beta build(beta-5) of the upcoming Android 12 on September 8. A blog on developers.android.com read that Android 12 is just a few weeks away from the official release! As per an internal document shared by Mishaal Rahman, editor-in-chief XDA Developers, Android 12 will be released on October 4th.
The next version of Google’s OS is to be the biggest design change in Android’s history. The beta version available in public since May showed us that the new colorful UI, Material You. The new UI will tweak the core apps to make them more eye-catchy. Beyond the UI, then it will be having improved Privacy features, faster animations, and will add features improving user experience.
The Google made Pixel phones are expected to get the first update of the official release of Android 12. Though the latest released beta versions are already available for limited users. The final beta has been changed a lot from the first developer preview of Android 12 in February.
The Samsung Phones have got the first One UI 4.0 beta version on September 13. Though the update has been pushed only in the flagship Galaxy S21 series. It is expected through past experiences that the Samsung phones will start getting the updates in late December or Early quarters of 2022.
Oppo has announced to release the beta versions later this September into their ColorOS. Matching with the pace, Xiaomi and OnePlus have already begun working on their beta versions. Though MIUI is expected to provide updates initially in China only. Other manufacturers including Motorola, Nokia etc. will follow up with them and would release the update on their phones not before the end of the first quarter of 2022.
