Some areas, like academics, may inspire high levels of confidence, but other areas, such as relationships, may not.
It is more important for a person to perceive themselves as confident than to be capable, according to self-confidence. We all form perceptions based upon our thoughts, and they are sometimes flawed.
Self-confidence might be affected by different experiences, such as growing up in an unsupportive and critical environment, being recently separated from your friends and family, having too harsh an opinion of yourself, or judging yourself harshly.
