The protest started from Havana and so many people got arrested because of this strike, they were being forcefully arrested and thrown up in the police vans. To back the fight against the police the protestors threw rocks at the police.

Why is the protest taking place?

What would you do if you were treated like a caged animal and not even given the right amount of food to eat? the same is happening in Cuba the economy is collapsing and the people are not given food and medicine properly, Cubans had been holding this protest for so many reasons, like food, medicine, improper vaccination facilities, daily blackouts. They had been also stating that there are no nearly the facilities available for people but the hotels and buildings are still on work where is that money coming from and you are leaving people to die?
